GARFIELD, N.J. -- The Garfield Public Library will hold a comedy murder-mystery event on Thursday, Oct. 8, to benefit a space dedicated to the memory of longtime staffer Karen Calandriello.
Proceeds from the event -- held on Calandriello's 61st birthday -- will go toward Karen's Korner.
Calandriello, who worked at the library for more than 20 years, died in February 2012.
"Murder on the Campaign Trial" will begin at 6:30 p.m., at the Royal Manor, 454 Midland Ave.
Tickets are $50, and can be purchased at the library (500 Midland Ave.).
