GARFIELD, N.J. — There will be a screening of the Oscar-nominated documentary "The Last Campaign of Governor Booth Gardner" at the Garfield Library on Tuesday.

The 5 p.m. screening will be followed by a discussion.

After serving two terms as one of the most popular governors in modern Washington history, Gardner was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

"The Last Campaign of Governor Booth Gardner" tells the story of his involvement in the campaign which ultimately authorized medical aid in dying in Washington.
