Customer Badly Burned By Tea Sues Whole Foods Edgewater

EDGEWATER, N.J. — A customer at Whole Foods in Edgewater is suing the market for serving her excessively-hot tea that she says burned her when it spilled, NJ.com reports.

Cliffside Park's Jacqueline Patton, 37, purchased the drink in November 2016 from the River Road store and is saying that her drink was prepared "carelessly [and] recklessly," the article says.
